Hanover, Maryland -- Hudson Cook LLP, a nationwide provider of legal compliance services for the financial services industry, recently announced the addition of Angela Maynard Shovein as a partner establishing the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio, office. Ms. Maynard will focus her practice on federal and state consumer financial services laws.
Before joining Hudson Cook, Ms. Maynard most recently worked as counsel for Chrysler Financial, and DeepGreen Financial where she was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. As General Counsel at DeepGreen she was a member of the executive team that developed strategic direction. Previously, Ms. Maynard was with KeyBank in Cleveland Ohio for 10 years where she held the roles of senior counsel, SVP and Chief Privacy Executive. Ms. Maynard’s legal career spans over 20 years where she has developed expertise in the area of consumer compliance and privacy law.
Ms. Maynard is a graduate of University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law where she earned both a law degree and MBA, and is a member of the Michigan and Ohio state bars.
